Internet Marketing

Three factors are driving our economy for some time now:

1. Moore's Law (that describes the falling cost of digital technology) ensures that Internet businesses, especially Internet Marketing will continue to grow.
2. The acceptance of digital environment by consumers. Many web communities have been formed much the same way as in the physical word throughout history just much faster. Compare e. g. success of Yahoo, eBay and many others to see that no small business stays unaffected by the Internet.
3. Convergence at both the industry level and the consumer level.* On the industry level, computing, communications, and media companies are merging to form conglomerates as MSNBC, on the consumers level, new devices are being used to combine computing with phones and TVs.

For most companies, advertising is the main communication method of choice. Large companies need to spend a lot of money to get even noticed on the Internet. How do small businesses compete? They don't. It is necessary to choose suitable part of the market, select adequate customers and position yourself well within marketing communities. The key for small Internet business is to focus on no cost and low cost promotions, build its mailing list and without having good product or service to join affiliate programs.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs are by definition the means of advertising for e-commerce, one of the most common online Internet Marketing methods, so called Money Making Programs.

To become an Affiliate, someone who refers people to the given website and market their products and services, you have to join the program by Sign-in/Opt-in feature (program). It costs you nothing and you receive commissions based on the policies and rules of the chosen Affiliate Program.

Not all the programs are the same. I consider the following two programs to belong to the best ones

1. SFI - the Internet based marketing network - was found by Gery Carson, President of SFI Marketing Group, who introduced the Direct Mail model for network marketing in the 1980'.
